Mr. Buchan has been providing geotechnical engineering consulting services and geo-structural design since 1992. His expertise includes complex geotechnical and geohazard assessments, design of deep foundations, excavation shoring, rock and soil slope stabilization, retaining walls (including invention of a U.S. patented system) for slope stabilization systems to protect people, roads, and vital infrastructure including pipelines.
